Porthcothan Bay
Porthcothan Bay is certainly one place you should take the time to visit whilst on your holiday here at Carnevas Holiday Park.
Situated just a few miles South of Padstow this spectacular bay is everything you would expect from a North Cornwall beach; a fantastic mix of weather-beaten headland and dunes, softened at the edges by swathes of flat, golden sand. During low tide you can spend hours investigating the rock pools for crabs and other inhabitants, and of course, the ocean is always there for bathing and swimming.
Although some people do surf at Porthcothan Bay it is not one of the more commonly associated surf hot spots, although there are lifeguard patrols present between May and September, making it a fantastic spot for family fun.
