St Merryn
Situated just south of Padstow, the village of St Merryn boasts more than 5 1/2 miles of coastline and some of the most dramatic cliffs and beautiful beaches in Cornwall.
As you enter the village of St Merryn, you may see the 'Seven bays for Seven days' strapline referring to the wonderful bays and beaches within striking distance of the village: Trevone Bay, Harlyn Bay, Mother Ivy's Bay, Booby's Bay, Constantine Bay, Treyarnon Bay and Porthcothan Bay (just a short hop from Carnevas Holiday Park)
St Merryn has good local ameneties and is home to two local pubs - The Farmers Arms and also The Cornish Arms which is run by Rick Stein - a great place for a game of pool (warmed by the log fire in winter) and a bite to eat.
